Facing My Reality
I’ve heard it’s bad for you to do long runs on the weekends and not any runs during the week. That means I’m screwed for tomorrow’s 10 miles.
My precious 140 students have consumed my life this past week and running became a frequent visitor to the back burner. My reality is that fitting a run in is hard when you have a crazy week at school. There are some weeks when I can’t do anything about it.
Example 1:
We have pizza every single Monday because the place up the street runs a deal for $4. Somehow this week, pizza night became Pizza and Wine night. I was asleep after my first glass.
Example 2: This week Kyle and I were invited to a Educators Benefit Dinner.
Run or eat food you don’t have to pay for or cook? Which would you choose?
In more important news:
I guess it’s time I admit they really are divorced.
I thought the whole thing was a publicity stunt.
I might still hold onto my Newlywed DVDs. Just in case.

You can do it! Your legs will feel fresh and then this coming week you can start running during the week again. You’ve got this
SUCH a better way of looking at it Jamie. Thank you. “My legs are feeling fresh” is will be my mantra tomorrow morning!!
I loved that show too! I thought they were the cutest couple ever!!!
Glad your weekend is great so far! Sounds like it has been fun!
