Running Rhode Island

180.43
Three point ten of those miles were for the Katie DeCubellis 5K held in Narragansett.
This was the 13th year for this event and was my Mother’s first ever 5K!
I finished in 34:10, not my fastest, not my slowest.
My mom finished in 48 minutes which for her first 5K is fantastic.
My speedy little bro finished in 27:10. Amazing.
Other than running I’ve been completing all the Rhode Island Norms:
1. Block Island Day Trip for a sun burn and seafood.
2. Eat as much Newport Creamery ice cream as possible.
3. Sibling play time.
5. A Paw Sox game in Pawtucket where you spend way too much cash on fried dough and powdered sugar.
6. Provide my younger, yet much more mature brother, with as much quality time with me as possible!!
He’s really going to miss us.

Looks like you are having a great time! Way to go at the 5K and way to go Mom!! Woohoo for her first 5K!
That text pic was hilarious and I literally LOL!! So glad your getting to spend some fun time with your fam! It will make my YEAR when mine come visit!! P.S. We need to come up with a way to live near each other. We have about the same pace and I pick you as my running partner. Now let’s figure this thing out
Seriously, I need someone who runs at my pace. We’ll need to find a half, halfway! Arkansas and South Carolina? Totally do-able!
Yay for mother/daughter runs!!! That’s so great that everyone in your family can share a hobby!
My mom and I are going to run the country music half marathon in April. It’s really far away but she’s never done a half before so we need lots of time to prepare.
Good for you guys!! That looks like a really good race, I’ve looked into it before. It’s on my “maybe for April” list. We’ll see how the next school year treats me to see if I ‘d be up for it!
Looks like a great time! I love it when families run together
It was so much fun!
Looks so nice there!! Your family sounds like a ton of fun!
Awesome job on your 5K.. wish I could get my mom to run with me but shes not into it at all. I may be able to get her to bike though! Your mom did great
